The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is once more acting to do harm to you and me and the environment in general. They are acting to allow more mercury pollution into the air, thereby also contaminating the soil and water supplies. It’s just so ‘1984′ to call them the ‘Environmental Protection’ agency, what doublespeak! More like the ‘Suck Pollution, and Like it’ agency, although that doesn’t add up to a very interesting abbreviation. Anyway, they are trying to pressure state environmental agencies into having lower standards, Federal ones that is, with respect to mercury emissions. It’s so sad, but true. Where does a lot of this mercury pollution come from? Coal-fired power plants, of course. Watch out!
